Timing and words

From a MIDI or karaoke file

The easiest way: a .mid or .kar file fills in the bars, time signatures and tempo changes, the words as they are sung, and where each part comes back in after a rest.

Make the click, the conductor and the page turns follow a recording: every beat where it falls in it, rubato, pauses and all.

Andante (a break of 6 s before bar 97) · bar=96 hold=3 (a fermata: the last beat of bar 96 lasts 3 s longer) · bar=32 tail=5 (after the last bar, recording goes on 5 s so the last note can ring; 3 s when not set). Anything after # is a note, such as the movement's name. Used for the click (heard and shown on the stage), page turns and alignment.

Video Record pictures in

Bigger pictures look better full screen and in the finished video, but take longer to upload and use more of the project's storage. A camera that can't manage the size records its best. Live pictures are sent smaller whatever this says.

Nothing is charged while the platform is in prototype. Plans switch on for free so you can see how it will work. Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.
